Cameras

We shoot using state of the art Sony PD170 cameras. These 3 chip Broadcast quality cameras are made for low light situations. The 170's are rated one of the best cameras on the market today.

Stability

In addition to using professional grade Bogen tripods, Video Images takes it one step further. To insure smooth footage in tight situations, we utilize the latest technology in camera stabilization. The innovative Fig Rig ™, designed by critically acclaimed director Mike Figgis, allows us to move about freely ensuring smooth footage.

Wireless Mics

We also use a professional wireless microphone systems. A small microphone is typically placed on the groom to capture the moment, yet not get in the way. One of the wireless system we use is the Sennheiser EW 100 UHF. It has the capability to maintain a clear signal up to 300 feet. It works much better than any VHF system and is a perfect audio choice for weddings. We also use the Sony UWP-C1.

In addition to wireless microphones, we use i-River personal digital recorders to capture the audio from your readers, and singers. These are stand alone recorders with individual microphones that capture CD Quality audio making them perfect for your special day

VHS tapes can also be ordered, however we strongly recommend DVD's. The quality is much better and will last longer...plus you get to play with the interactive menus!
